Biological Activity

Teixobactin, a cyclic condensed peptide antibiotic isolated from the soil bacterium Eleftheria terrae, inhibits the synthesis of both peptidoglycan and teichoic acid, and exhibits antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and Mycobacterium.
