Biological Activity

Neocryptotanshinone, a fat-soluble active compound derived from Salvia miltiorrhiza, can show anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting the NF-κB and iNOS signaling pathways and can enhance lysosomal fusion and hydrolysis, limiting oxidative stress and apoptosis in vivo and in vitro.
