Biological Activity

Oxybutynin is a synthetic tertiary amine compound that competitively antagonizes muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (mAChRs) such as M1, M2, and M3, as well as inhibits vascular Kv channels in a concentration-dependent manner, with an IC50 value of 11.51 ± 0.38 μmol/L and a Hill coefficient (n) of 2.25 ± 0.12.
