Biological Activity

iCRT 14 is a potent inhibitor of β-catenin-responsive transcription (CRT) (IC50 = 40.3 nM in assays of Wnt pathway activity). Thought to directly influence the interaction between β-catenin and TCF4. iCRT 14 induces marked G0/G1 cell cycle arrest in HCT-116 and HT29 cell lines.

Calphostin C (PKF115-584) is a small molecule inhibitor of Wnt/beta-catenin/lef-1 signaling. Calphostin C is also a potent and specific inhibitor of protein kinase C. PKF115-584 efficiently killed CLL cells (LC(50)<1 microM), whereas normal B cells were not significantly affected.
