Storage: Freeze-dried protein should be stored at < -20°C, but at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. The recombinant protein solution can be stored at 4-7℃ for 2-7 days. The isometric solution of the recombinant sample was stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Biological activity: DickkopF-related protein 1(DKK-1) is a member of the DickkopF family. The protein secreted by DKK1 has two cysteine-rich regions separated by junction regions. It antagonizes typical Wnt signaling by inhibiting lRP5/6 interaction with Wnt and forming ternary complexes with transmembrane protein KREMEN that promote lRP5/6 internalization. In adults, Dkks has been associated with bone formation and bone disease, cancer and Alzheimer's disease.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.
