Biological Activity

Cinnamtannin B-1 is a proanthocyanidin that has a variety of biological functions, including antioxidant effects. Cinnamtannin B-1 inhibits RANKL-induced osteoclasty and prevents osteoporosis induced by ovarian resection. Cinnamtannin B-1 inhibition can be used for the study of osteoporosis and colon cancer.
