Biological Activity

BML-284 (Wnt agonist 1) is a potent and selective activator of Wnt signaling. BML-284 enhances beta-catenin and increases transcript and protein levels of p-gp. BML-284 increases the migration and invasion of both MNK45 and AGS cells and partially restores the migratory and invasive abilities of cells inhibited by pizotifen. BML-284 induces the expression of β-catenin significantly when compared with the NC group.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.
