Agarose is a low melting point agarose modified with hydroxyethyl and methoxy groups on the polysaccharide chain, which is suitable for in-gel enzymatic reactions, tissue culture, cell cloning and viral vacuole analysis and other related studies. This product can be made into 0.5-2.5% agarose gel according to different needs and can resolve DNA and RNA fragments from 50-15,000 bp.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.
