| Ophiopogonin D', isolated from the tuber of Ophiopogon japonicus, is a rare naturally occurring C29 steroid glycoside. Ophiopogonin D' has cytotoxic activity against two human tumor cell lines mG-63 and SNU387. Ophiopogonin D' can induce necrotic apoptosis of prostate cancer LNCaP cells by activating RIPK1.
