Sitafloxacin (DU6859a) is a potent, orally active fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Sitafloxacin can be used for the research of respiratory tract infection and urinary tract infection.

N-Hydroxypipecolic acid accumulates systemically in the plant foliage in response to pathogen attack. N-Hydroxypipecolic acid induces SAR to bacterial and oomycete infection.
