Storage and Stability: Lyophilized proteins should be stored at <-20°C, although stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solutions can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable for 3 months at <-20°C.
Bioactivity: Protein 5 containing the fibronectin type III structural domain, a precursor of irisin, is a protein encoded by the FNDC5 gene. Human irisin is synthesized as a 212 amino acid (aa) precursor encoding a type 1 transmembrane protein with 121 extracellular structural domains (ECDs), 21 transmembrane structural domains and 39 cytoplasmic structural domains. the ECD of Irisin contains a fibronectin type III structural domain and multiple glycosylation sites. irisin induces peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ Irisin also regulates neuronal differentiation and neuronal growth in the brain and is involved in the differentiation of osteoblasts.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

Recombinant Human CD14 (Mammalian, C-6His)
Recombinant Human CD14 is produced by Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Thr20-Cys352 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. CD14 is a cell surface glycoprotein that is preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages. CD14 is anchored to cells by linkage to glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) and functions as a pattern recognition receptor that binds lipopolysaccharides (LPS) and a variety of ligands derived from different microbial sources. |
Recombinant Murine GM-CSF Protein (HEK293, C-His)
Recombinant Murine GM-CSF Protein is a hematopoietic growth factor that can promote the development of neutrophils and macrophages, and promote the proliferation and development of early erythroid megakaryocytes and eosinophilic progenitors. |

The recombinant human UBA1/GST chimera consists of 1294 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 146 KDa. A DNA sequence encoding the human UBA1 (NP_003325.2) (Ser 2-Arg 1058) was fused with the N-terminal polyhistidine-tagged GST tag at the N-terminus. |
Recombinant Human UBE2D1 (E.coli, N-GST)
Recombinant Human UBE2D1 is produced by E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Met147 is expressed with a GST tag at the N-terminus. Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 D1(UBE2D1)belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. |
