Storage and Stability: Lyophilized proteins should be stored at <-20°C, although stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solutions can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable for 3 months at <-20°C.

Bioactivity: Protein 5 containing the fibronectin type III structural domain, a precursor of irisin, is a protein encoded by the FNDC5 gene. Human irisin is synthesized as a 212 amino acid (aa) precursor encoding a type 1 transmembrane protein with 121 extracellular structural domains (ECDs), 21 transmembrane structural domains and 39 cytoplasmic structural domains. the ECD of Irisin contains a fibronectin type III structural domain and multiple glycosylation sites. irisin induces peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ Irisin also regulates neuronal differentiation and neuronal growth in the brain and is involved in the differentiation of osteoblasts.

Animal A (mg/kg) = Animal B (mg/kg) multiplied by  Animal B Km
Animal A Km

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

Recombinant Human SEPHS1 (Mammalian, C-6His)

Selenophosphate synthetase 1 (SEPHS1) belongs to the selenophosphate synthase 1 family, Class II subfamily. SEPHS1 can be activated by phosphate ions and by potassium ions. Recombinant Human SEPHS1 is produced by Mammalian expression system and expressed the target gene encoding Met1-Ser392 with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Recombinant Human CXCL13/BCA-1 (E. coli)

CXCL13, also known as B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), is a CXC chemokine that is constitutively expressed in secondary lymphoid organs. Recombinant human CXCL13 is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 87 amino acids and mature human BCA-1 shares 64 % amino acid sequence similarity with the murine protein and 23–34 % amino acid sequence identity with other known CXC chemokines. Determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human B cells, the biological activity is in a concentration range of 1.0-10 ng/ml.

Recombinant Human PDGF-AA protein (E.coli)

Recombinant Human PDGF-AA Protein is a potent mitogen for a variety of cell types, including smooth muscle cells, connective tissue cells, bone and cartilage cells, and some blood cells.

Recombinant human Heregulin β-1 protein (CHO)

Recombinant human Heregulin β-1 protein is a member of the EGF family of proteins. Heregulin is essential for the normal development of the nervous system and the heart. It is produced in numerous isoforms by alternative splicing, allowing it to perform a variety of functions.

Recombinant Human HBAZ Protein (E.coli, N-6His)

Hemoglobin Subunit Zeta (HBZ) is a member of the Globin family. The zeta chain is an alpha-type chain of mammalian embryonic Hemoglobin that is synthesized primarily in the yolk sac of the early embryo, while alpha-globin is produced throughout fetal growth and adult life. Recombinant Human Hemoglobin Subunit Zeta is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Arg142 is expressed with a 6His tag at the N-terminus.
