Bioactivity: EC50 value of human MIP-3 alpha/CCL20 for Ca2+ mobilization of Cho-K1 /Ga15/hCCR6 cells (human Ga15 and human CCR6 are stably expressed in Cho-K1 cells) was less than 200.0 ng/ mL. Mip-3 α is expressed in liver, lymph nodes, appendix, PBL, and lung, and signals through CCR6 receptors. It has strong chemotaxis to lymphocytes and weak attraction to neutrophils. Mip-3 α is involved in the formation and function of mucous lymphoid tissue by attracting epithelial cells surrounding mucous lymphoid tissue by lymphocytes and dendritic cells. Promote the adhesion of memory CD4+ T cells and inhibit the formation of immature progenitor cells in bone marrow.
