Biological Activity

Recombinant Human IL-3 Protein (HEK293) is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the survival, differentiation and proliferation of megakaryocytes, granulocyte-macrophages, red blood cells, eosinophils, basophils and mast cell lineage progenitor cells. IL-3 is produced by T cells, mast cells and eosinophils, and enhances platelet production, phagocytosis, and antibody-mediated cytotoxicity. Its ability to activate monocytes indicates that IL-3 may have additional immunomodulatory effects. The activity of many IL-3 depends on co-stimulation with other cytokines. IL-3 is a species-specific and mutable Glycosylated cytokines.

Measured by cell proliferation assay in TF-1 cells, the activity is ≥ 1.0×106 U/mg.

Endotoxin <0.1 EU/μg

Chemical Information
Form Lyophilized powder
Solubility (25°C) Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water or PBS. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml.
Storage Stored at ≤-20°C, stable for one year after receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days and at -20°C for 3 months.

Species Mouse Rat Rabbit Guinea pig Hamster Dog

Animal A (mg/kg) = Animal B (mg/kg) multiplied by  Animal B Km
Animal A Km

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

Related Recombinant Proteins Products
Recombinant Human IL-10 (CHO)

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is usually secreted as a homodimer and, upon binding to its receptor, inhibits the synthesis of a number of cytokines, including IFN-gamma, IL-2, IL-3, TNF and GM-CSF produced by activated macrophages and Th2 cells.

Recombinant Human IL-5 (CHO)

Interleukin-5 (IL-5) is responsible for the activities attributed to eosinophil differentiating factor, B cell growth factor II and T cell-replacing factor (TRF). IL-5 plays an important role in inducing cell-mediated immunity against parasitic infections and certain tumors.

Recombinant Human Tau-F Protein (E.coli)

Tau proteins are proteins which contain four Tau/MAP repeats. They promote microtubule assembly and stability, and might be involved in the establishment and maintenance of neuronal polarity.

Recombinant Human Tau Protein (E. coli, His Tag)

Tau proteins are proteins that stabilize microtubules. Tau protein is a highly soluble microtubule-associated protein (MAP). In humans, these proteins are mostly found in neurons compared to non-neuronal cells. One of tau's main functions is to modulate the stability of axonal microtubules.

Recombinant Rat IL-23 Protein (HEK293, C-His)

IL-23 (IL-23 alpha & IL-12 beta Heterodimer) Protein is a recombinant protein dimer complex containing rat-derived IL-23 alpha & IL-12 beta Heterodimer protein, expressed by HEK293.
