Biological Activity

Polysucrose T-70 (same as Ficoll PM 70) is a water-soluble polysaccharide polymer formed by the cross-linking of sucrose with epichlorohydrin. It is widely used in the fields of biomedicine and life sciences, including cell separation, density gradient centrifugation, drug delivery, in vivo tracing and biosensing. Polysucrose T-70 can be used as a supplement in the vitrification solution for the vitrification procedure of oocytes; as a component of low serum medium for human lung fibroblast cell culture to promote a crowded environment.
