Plazomicin is a derivative of Sisomicin and a novel aminoglycoside antibiotic that binds to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis in a concentration-dependent manner, with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against aerobic Gram-negative bacteria, and can be used in studies related to pyelonephritis.
