Ompenaclid (RGX-202-01) strongly inhibits creatine import in vitro and in vivo, decreases intracellular phosphocreatine and ATP levels, and induces apoptosis. Ompenaclid (RGX-202-01) has been used in oncology and Duchenne muscular dystrophy studies.
