Biological Activity

Ibuprofen arginine non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound (NSAID) the more soluble form of ibuprofen arginine. Ibuprofen, like ibuprofen and its sodium salts, inhibits COX-2, but only ibuprofen can enhance the cellular NO pathway through the synergistic delivery of NOS substrate arginine. Ibuprofen, but not sodium, Shows reversing the inhibitory effect of Cardiotoxic hormone asymmetrically dimethylarginine (ADMA) and Ng-Nitro-L-Arginin ethyl ester (L-name) acted on nitric oxide synthase (Enos & Enol) in vitro (mouse RAW264.7 macrophages and isolated mouse and rat aorta) and effectively prevented l-name-induced increases in arterial blood pressure from large in vivo anesthesia Mice (0.5 mg/kg L - the NAME; Ibuprofen arginate 114.8 μmol/kg, equivalent to 20 mg/kg L-ARG through femoral artery intubation).
