Biological Activity

Alpha-boswellic acid (α-Boswellic acid) is a pentacyclic triterpenoid compound extracted from frankincense with anticonvulsant and anticancer activities. Alpha-boswellic acid can prevent and reduce markers of Alzheimer's disease in animals and can be used in alzheimer's disease research.
