Biological Activity

Species: Human
Expression system: Mammalian
Endotoxin: LAL test measured less than 0.1 ng/µg (1eu /µg)
Molecular weight: 76.2 KDa
Storage and stability: The freeze-dried protein should be stored at ≤-20°C for one year after receiving. The recombinant protein solution can be stored at 2-8℃ for 2-7 days. The bisector of the recombinant sample was stable at ≤-20°C for 3 months.

Biological activity: Serum transferrin belongs to the transferrin family and contains two transferrin like domains. This protein is a secreted protein, expressed by the liver and secreted in the plasma. Transferrin is an iron-bound transporter that can bind two Fe3+ ions and bind to one anion. It is responsible for transporting iron from where it is absorbed and heme is degraded to where it is stored and used. Serum transferrin may also have a further role in stimulating cell proliferation.

Related Recombinant Proteins Products
Recombinant Human HMGB1 Protein (E. coli)

High mobility group protein B1 is a member of the HMGB family consisting of three members, HMGB1, HMGB2 and HMGB3. As a nuclear protein, HMGB1 stabilizes nucleosomes and allows bending of DNA that facilitates gene transcription which is essential for individual survival. Meanwhile, it is revealed that HMGB1 can also act as a cytokine extracellularlly and regulates monocyte, T cell, dendritic cell activities in inflammatory responses.

Recombinant Human IL-25/IL-17E (E. coli, C-His)

Interleukin 25 (IL-25) belongs to the Interleukin 17 (IL-17) family of proteins. IL25 is a glycoprotein secreted as dimers by innate effector eosinophils and basophils, and present at very low levels in various peripheral tissues. IL25, together with IL17B, are ligands for the cytokine receptor IL17BR, and the cross-linking induces NF-κB activation and production of the proinflammatory chemokine IL-8, as well as ERK, JNK, and p38 activation.

Recombinant Human SEMA3A (Mammalian, N-6His-Flag)

Semaphorin 3A (SEMA3A) is a secreted protein which belongs to the semaphorin family. Semaphorin 3A can function as either a chemorepulsive agent, inhibiting axonal outgrowth, or as a chemoattractive agent, stimulating the growth of apical dendrites.

Recombinant Human CD143/ACE (E. coli, N-GST)

CD143/ACE Protein is a recombinant human Angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE, CD143) which hydrolyzes small peptides such as angiotensin I, bradykinin, substance P, LH-RH and several others and thus plays a key role in blood pressure regulation and vascular remodeling. ACE plays a crucial role in blood pressure regulation, vascular remodeling, and immunity.
