Pectolinarin has anti-inflammatory activity. Pectolinarin inhibits il-6 and IL-8 secretion and PGE2 and NO production. Pectolinarin can inhibit cell proliferation and inflammatory response and induce apoptosis by inhibiting PI3K/Akt pathway.
