Obovatol, a biphenyl ether lignan isolated from the leaves of Magnolia obovata Thunb, possesses antioxidant, neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombotic, and antitumor activities. In addition, Obovatol targets the pan-apoptosis (PANoptosis)-related molecule NLRP3/AIM2.
