Biological Activity

Lysionotin is a flavonoid isolated from the herb goldenrod. Lysionotin can effectively inhibit the expression of α -toxin, a porelin protein, and has shown significant protective effects against STaphylococcus aureus in vivo and in vitro. Lysionotin can be used to study pneumonia caused by Staphylococcus aureus.
