Diethyl succinate (Diethyl Butanedioate) is the Diethyl form of succinate. Diethyl succinate (Diethyl Butanedioate) can be used at physiological pH and passed through a biofilm. Incorporated into cells in tissue cultures and metabolized through the TCA cycle. Diethyl succinate was not toxic.
