Biological Activity

ARN272 is a fAAH-like anandamide transporter (FLAT) inhibitor (IC50 = 1.8 μM); cytosolic variant of FAAH-1 that binds anandamide. ARN272 attenuates anandamide internalization and deactivation in vitro and in vivo respectively. ARN272 exhibits analgesic effects in rodent models of CB1-mediated nociceptive and inflammatory pain.
