Biological Activity

(±) -praeruptorin A is A diesterification product of cis-lactone (CKL), and is the main active component of Peucedani Radix composed of dried Peucedanum praeruptorumDunn. (±) -PRAeruptorin A has been widely used as one of the traditional Chinese medicines to study cough with thick sputum and dyspnea, non-natural cough and upper respiratory tract infection. (±) -praeruptorin A can be used as A Ca2+- reflux blocker in the study of hypertension.
