Lomefloxacin hydrochloride (Maxaquin) is a hydrochloride salt of lomefloxacin and is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic.Lomefloxacin hydrochloride (Maxaquin) is used to treat bacterial infections including bronchitis and urinary tract infections. Lomefloxacin hydrochloride (Maxaquin) is also used to prevent urinary tract infections prior to surgery.
