4-Isopropylbenzoic acid is an aromatic monoterpenoid isolated from the stem bark of Bridelia retusa. 4-Isopropylbenzoic acid shows antifungal activities. 4-Isopropylbenzoic acid is also a reversible and uncompetitive mushroom tyrosinase inhibitor.
