Description: Taurohyodeoxycholic acid (THDCA) sodium prevents apoptosis by blocking a calcium-mediated apoptotic pathway as well as caspase-12 activation. Taurohyodeoxycholic acid sodium can also reduce the activity and expression of myeloperoxidase TNF-α and IL-6, as well as colonic damage in TNBS-induced ulcerative colitis mouse model.
