Snail/HDAC-IN-1 is a potent Snail/HDAC dual-targeting inhibitor with strong inhibitory activity against HDAC1 with an IC50 value of 0.405 μM, and against Snail with a Kd of 0.18 μM. In addition, Snail/HDAC-IN-1 also increases histone H4 acetylation and decreases Snail protein expression in HCT-116 cells, thereby inducing apoptosis.
