Product Information
Description: Recombinant Human Apolipoprotein E is produced by Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Lys19-His317 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. ApoE is a structural component of very low density lipoprotein (vLDL) synthesized by the liver and intestinally synthesized chylomicrons. ApoE mediates high affinity binding of chylomicrons and vLDL particles to the LDL receptor, allowing for specific uptake of these particles by the liver, preventing the accumulation of cholesterol rich particles in the plasma.

Stability and Solubility Advice: Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide.
We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details.
