| Description: | Protein Synthesis IN-1 (a substitute for Cycloheximide) is an inhibitor of protein biosynthesis in eukaryotic organisms, with IC50 of 532.5 nM. Protein Synthesis IN-1 binds to the E-site of the 60S subunit of the ribosome during the protein synthesis process in eukaryotic cells, blocking the ribosome translocation process mediated by eEF2 and preventing the synthesis of new proteins. Protein Synthesis IN-1 suppresses ferroptosis and inhibits autophagy. |
