| Description: | Ganaxolone (CCD 1042) is A neuroactive steroid allopregnenolone analogue synthesized orally and is A selective, high-affinity positive sex modulator of γ -aminobutyrate-A (GABAA) receptor with anticonvulsant properties. Gannadone works through different binding sites with benzodiazepine binding sites and can be used in epilepsy studies related to cyclin-dependent kinase-like 5 (CDKL5) deficiency (CDD). |
