Tenapanor hydrochloride reduces intestinal absorption of phosphate by reducing passive paracellular phosphate flux. Tenapanor hydrochloride is used in studies related to chronic renal insufficiency, hyperphosphatemia, constipation, and irritable bowel syndrome. |
