| Description: | Picroside I (6' -cinnamoylcatalpol) is a major ingredient of Picrorhiza Kurroa. Picrorhiza Kurroa is a high value medicinal plant rich in liver-protecting metabolites Picroside I and Picroside-II. Picroside I could be used in asthma studies. Picroside I significantly reduces inflammation. Picroside I also down-regulated pSTAT6 and GATA3 expression. Picroside I dose-dependently increases serum IFN-γ levels. |
