| Description: | Oxfenicine (L-p-Hydroxyphenylglycine) is an orally active carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1 inhibitor. Oxfenicine inhibits the oxidation of fatty acid in heart. Oxfenicine protects heart from necrotic tissue damage during ischaemia. |
