| Description: | (-)-Pinoresinol is a plant-derived tetrahydrofuran lignan that inhibits α-glucosidase and acts as a hypoglycemic agent. (-)-Pinoresinol has some anti-inflammatory effects and acts as a chemopreventive agent, inducing increased apoptosis and cell cycle G2/M arrest. |
