Description: | Forskolin is a diterpenoid natural product extracted from the hairy throat sphagnum flower (Coleus forskohlii), and is also a eukaryotic adenylate cyclase (AC) activator, which can increase cAMP levels. In addition, Forskolin can be used as a substitute for Oct4 in the induction and maintenance of pluripotent stem cells in mice and promotes osteoblast differentiation in vitro with potential anti-osteoporotic activity. |
Stability and Solubility Advice: | Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide. We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details. |
