| Description: | DSPE-PEG2000-COOH is a carboxyl-terminated PEG derivative of phosphatidylserine with a molecular weight of approximately 2000. DSPE provides lipophilicity and membrane-fusion properties, whilst PEG enhances stability; the carboxyl group can be used for coupling reactions with amine groups. DSPE-PEG2000-COOH is commonly used in the preparation of liposomes and nanolipid carriers, and can form micelles for drug delivery and biomedical research. |
