| Description: | Conantokin-R is a potent, non-competitive NMDA receptor peptide antagonist with an IC50 of 93 nM.Conantokin-R is also NR2 subunit selective. It inhibits the inward current induced by NMDA in CNS neurons (IC50 = 350 nM). In addition, Conantokin R bound to Zn2+ and Mg2+ with Kd of 0.15 μM and 6.5 μM, respectively. |
