| Description: | Carbetocin acetate is an oxytocin (OT) analog and oxytocin receptor agonist that crosses the blood-brain barrier with a Ki of 7.1 nM. In addition, Carbetocin acetate has a high affinity for the chimeric N-terminal (E1) end of the oxytocin receptor, with a Ki = 1.17 μM. Carbetocin acetate can be used in studies related to postpartum hemorrhage. |
