Description: Bromfenac sodium hydrate (Bromsite, Bromday, Prolensa, Xibrom), a brominated nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) with strong in vitro anti-inflammatory potency, is a potent and orally active inhibitor of COX with IC50 of 5.56 nM and 7.45 nM for COX-1 and COX-2, respectively.
