| Description: | Avatrombopag (AKR-501) is an orally active, nonpeptide thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist (EC50=3.3 nM). Avatrombopag mimics the biological activities of TPO. Avatrombopag increases platelet production by activating the intracellular signaling system. |
