| Description: | Alkaline phosphatase (from Bovine intestine) is an orally active membrane-bound glycoprotein that catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate monoesters at alkaline pH. Alkaline phosphatase reduces myeloperoxidase activity and bacterial translocation. Alkaline phosphatase improves survival rate of mice infected with E. coli. |
