Description: 3-Acetonyl-3-hydroxyoxindole (AHO) is a potent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) inducer in plants. 3-Acetonyl-3-hydroxyoxindole induces resistance in tobacco plants against infection with tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and the fungal pathogen Erysiphe cichoracearum.
