| Description: | 16-Hydroxyhexadecanoic acid is a saturated fatty acid and a key monomer in the cutin of plant cuticles. It can be used as an internal standard for the measurement of hydroxylated and hydroperoxidised fatty acids in plasma. It is commonly used as a thickener, emulsifier and stabiliser. |
