Species: Mouse
Expression system: E. coli
Purity: > 95% as determined by reduced SDS-PAGE
Endotoxin: Protein content < 0.2 EU/μg was determined by gel coagulation
Apparent molecular weight: ~15.2 kDa under SDS-PAGE non-reducing condition
Storage and stability: Upon receipt, the product remains stable at temperatures below -70°C for up to 6 months. After reconstruction, the product should be stable at 4°C for up to 1 week or at -20°C for up to 3 months. For long-term storage, the addition of a carrier protein (e.g. 0.1% BSA) is recommended. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Bioactivity: Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a multipotent cytokine belonging to the interleukin family. IL-3 shares similarities with granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and IL-5: both have quadruple helical bundle structures, are located on the same chromosome in humans and mice, are produced by activated T cells, and share receptors. Members of the IL-3/IL-5/GM-CSF receptor family are heterodimers, consisting of a receptor-specific α chain and a common β chain. IL-3 is also known as a multi-colony stimulator because it stimulates the development and colony formation of hematopoietic cells in multiple lineages by activating intracellular pathways such as Ras-Raf-ERK and JAK/STAT. IL-3 inhibits apoptosis and promotes cell survival by targeting the anti-apoptotic bcl-2 gene family.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

Recombinant Human B2M Protein (Mammalian, C-6His)
β-2-Microglobulin (B2M) is a secreted protein with 1 Ig-like C1-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain which belongs to the beta-2-microglobulin family. B2M may adopt the fibrillar configuration of amyloid in certain pathologic states. |

Recombinant Human DPP4/CD26 (Mammalian, C-6His)
DPP4/CD26 is a signal-anchor for type II membrane protein that belongs to the peptidase S9B family. DPP4/CD26 acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation, by binding at least ADA, CAV1, IGF2R, and PTPRC. It’s binding to CAV1 and CARD11 induces T-cell proliferation and NF-kappa-B activation in a T-cell receptor/CD3-dependent manner. |
Recombinant Human USP14 (E.coli, N-6His)
USP14 belongs to the ubiquitin-specific processing (USP) family which is a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) with His and Cys domains. USP14 acts also as a physiological inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) under the non-stressed condition by inhibiting the degradation of unfolded endoplasmic reticulum proteins via interaction with ERN1. |
