Biological Activity

Recombinant Human IFN-λ1 Protein uses an independent receptor system consisting of IFN-λR1 subunit (also called CRF 2-12) and IL-10R2 subunit (also called CRF 2-14) to induce an antiviral defense similar to type I interferon, but different from type I interferon.

Recombinant human IFN-λ1 protein contains 184 amino acids and has a predicted molecular weight of 20.6kd.

Depends on its ability to activate STAT phosphorylation, which was analyzed in the ISRE luciferase report using human colon cancer COLO205 cells, expected ED50 is 0.2-0.5 ng/ml.

Expression host is Human HEK293 cells
