Bioactivity: Chemokine (C-X-C-motif) ligand 6 (CXCL6) is a small cytokine in the CXC chemokine family. It is a potent neutrophil chemoattractant and activator, and it shares broad similarities with other CXC chemokines such as IL-8 and ENA-78. CXCL6 promoted the release of MMP-9 from granulocytes, indicating its potential role as an inflammatory mediator. It functionally uses the IL-8/CXCL8 receptor to chemotaxis neutrophils, but this is structurally related to the epithelal-derived neutrophil attractor 78 (ENA-78)/CXCL5. The human CXCL6 gene has been cloned and physically mapped to the CXC chemokine locus on chromosome 4. Mature human CXCL6 is a 75-amino acid (AA) protein with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 8 kDa. The homology of human CXCL6 to mouse and bovine CXCL6 was 60% and 67%, respectively.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.

Recombinant Human USP14 (E.coli, N-6His)
USP14 belongs to the ubiquitin-specific processing (USP) family which is a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) with His and Cys domains. USP14 acts also as a physiological inhibitor of endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) under the non-stressed condition by inhibiting the degradation of unfolded endoplasmic reticulum proteins via interaction with ERN1. |
Recombinant Human EpCAM/Trop-1 (Mammalian, C-Fc)
Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM) is a signal type I transmembrane glycoprotein. EpCAM plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation; it up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and Cyclin A and Cyclin E. It is highly and selectively expressed by undifferentiated embryonic stem cells. |
