Storage and stability: After receiving, the product remains stable at temperatures below -70°C for up to 6 months. After recombination, the product should be stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for 3 months. For long-term preservation, carrier protein (e.g. 0.1% BSA) is recommended. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological activity: It antagonizes THF by negatively regulating THF expression. It also inhibits endothelial NF-Kappa-B signaling through a camp-dependent pathway. Adiponectin can form low molecular weight complex (LMW), medium molecular weight complex (MMW) and high molecular weight complex (HMW). They bind to various growth factors, such as HBEGF, PDGFB and FGF2, and play a role in cell growth, angiogenesis and tissue remodeling.

For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.
